After meeting in the city centre and a 25-minute seaside drive, we arrive at the camp, where the reindeer will be waiting for you. At the camp, you will have the chance to feed the herd of around 300 reindeer that will swarm around and might even eat from your hands, and you will learn to use the lasso (but not on real reindeer).Inside a gamme, you will enjoy a traditional Sami meal cooked over the fire and warm drinks. A vegetarian option is also available.After lunch, you will be invited into a lavvu and gather around the fire to listen to stories about Sami culture and how it is to be a reindeer herder. The Sami guide will also perform a joik (traditional Sami song) for the guests.

25-minute bus drive to the reindeer camp
Feeding of wild reindeer around the camp
Guests can test lasso throwing (but not on real reindeer)
Hot drinks (tea, coffee, hot chocolate) around the fire inside a warm candlelit gamme (traditional Sami hut)
Warm lunch of bidos (a traditional Sami stew) with more hot drinks and cookies. A vegetarian / vegan / gluten free option is also possible.
